The Graduate was not my favorite of the movies we have watched so far. To be honest
the first half of the movie was extremely depressing and boring, due to the fact that Dustin
Hoffman just sat around at home and then went out at night to sleep with his parents family
friend Mrs. Robinson. At about halfway or so through the movie Benjamin (Dustin's
character) meets Elaine Robinson, Mrs. Robinson's daughter, it starts to get interesting.
Benjamin decides that he is going to marry her regardless of her new found hatred for Benjamin
after she finds out he slept with her mother. The soundtrack by Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel
is amazing by all measures and I think the music really helped the movie stand out.
